The local Maidenhead choir is run by vocal coach Lucy Hewes. We are the local community choir with the national reputation – join the Maidenhead Rock Choir and experience the singing phenomenon that Will Smith described as ‘Fantastic’. Whilst retaining our community spirit, we come together en masse for national and regional events, giving our members unrivalled performance opportunities and experiences beyond compare, ranging from appearing at Wembley Stadium to sing at the Rugby in October 2013 to our local Berks music, food and fireworks festivals!

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon ‘Big Heart’ Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.

**STOP PRESS** Rock Choir, the largest contemporary choir in the world is set to release their brand-new single ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ on Friday 21st March. The single features the Founder of Rock Choir, Caroline Redman Lusher along with the voices of over 6000 Rock Choir Members.
The single will be performed for the first time on national TV on the day of release and broadcast to the entire nation on BBC1 as part of the Comic Relief ‘Red Nose Day’ show. This will be the biggest choir performance the show has ever hosted and will be an emotional and poignant moment with a few surprises thrown in!
The track, which was originally performed by Keane was recorded over several months when it was performed by Rock Choir Members in the audience of a recent sold-out theatre tour which toured across the UK in 2024 led by Caroline and The Rock Choir Vocal Group. The audience became part of the show and enjoyed a fully interactive singing concert experience.
