Greenock Evening Rock Choir

If you have ever wondered ‘are there any community choirs near me?’ then the answer is firmly yes!

Your friendly local Greenock choir is run by singing teacher Jen Bonnar. Over the past few years Rock Choir has entered British people’s hearts with its unique mix of en-masse singing, fundraising, television appearances, and emphasis on supporting local communities. With performances at prestigious national venues such as 158 metres up the BT tower in London and sporting events such as Sport Relief, you too can have the opportunity to be a singing star!

We sing in Greenock every week during term time. You can join the choir by going to rockchoir.com or you can also book a FREE singing taster session to try it beforehand. **STOP PRESS** Rock Choir, the largest contemporary choir in the world is set to release their brand-new single ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ on Friday 21st March. The single features the Founder of Rock Choir, Caroline Redman Lusher along with the voices of over 6000 Rock Choir Members.

The single will be performed for the first time on national TV on the day of release and broadcast to the entire nation on BBC1 as part of the Comic Relief ‘Red Nose Day’ show. This will be the biggest choir performance the show has ever hosted and will be an emotional and poignant moment with a few surprises thrown in!

The track, which was originally performed by Keane was recorded over several months when it was performed by Rock Choir Members in the audience of a recent sold-out theatre tour which toured across the UK in 2024 led by Caroline and The Rock Choir Vocal Group. The audience became part of the show and enjoyed a fully interactive singing concert experience.
