Newbury Late Rock Choir

If you are wanting to learn to sing you’ll find a happy place with us in the Rock Choir.

The local Newbury choir is run by singer/pianist Chloe Payne. The choir will be performing locally again soon so it’s a chance for you to join in, sing and perform without pressure and under the supportive guidance of Chloe. Rock Choir members have performed at Wembley Stadium for the record breaking Saracens versus Harlequins rugby league game in 2012, Eurodisney and many more iconic venues across the country.

Whether you only sing in the shower or along to your car radio, or whether you see yourself belting out a showstopper in front of an audience of thousands, there’s a place for you in the Newbury Rock Choir. With no singing audition or need to read music, anyone can come along to a FREE taster session and see why the Newbury choir members recommend their friends!

**STOP PRESS** Rock Choir, the largest contemporary choir in the world is set to release their brand-new single ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ on Friday 21st March. The single features the Founder of Rock Choir, Caroline Redman Lusher along with the voices of over 6000 Rock Choir Members.

The single will be performed for the first time on national TV on the day of release and broadcast to the entire nation on BBC1 as part of the Comic Relief ‘Red Nose Day’ show. This will be the biggest choir performance the show has ever hosted and will be an emotional and poignant moment with a few surprises thrown in!

The track, which was originally performed by Keane was recorded over several months when it was performed by Rock Choir Members in the audience of a recent sold-out theatre tour which toured across the UK in 2024 led by Caroline and The Rock Choir Vocal Group. The audience became part of the show and enjoyed a fully interactive singing concert experience.
