The Shaftesbury Rock Choir is led by vocal coach Andrew Hollick. We have a great year lined up and we would like to invite you to join our choir and take part in the local Shaftesbury and wider Dorset county community. We are part of the pioneering Rock Choir singing groups. We often team up with the other local Dorset choirs to sing in much bigger choral groups. These inspirational moments are unique to the Rock Choir experience. It’s unbelievable and you can still join the choir.

We meet to socialise and practise once a week and you can come along to any rehearsal that is convenient to you for your FREE taste of what singing with your local choir is like. **STOP PRESS** Rock Choir, the largest contemporary choir in the world is set to release their brand-new single ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ on Friday 21st March. The single features the Founder of Rock Choir, Caroline Redman Lusher along with the voices of over 6000 Rock Choir Members.

The single will be performed for the first time on national TV on the day of release and broadcast to the entire nation on BBC1 as part of the Comic Relief ‘Red Nose Day’ show. This will be the biggest choir performance the show has ever hosted and will be an emotional and poignant moment with a few surprises thrown in!

The track, which was originally performed by Keane was recorded over several months when it was performed by Rock Choir Members in the audience of a recent sold-out theatre tour which toured across the UK in 2024 led by Caroline and The Rock Choir Vocal Group. The audience became part of the show and enjoyed a fully interactive singing concert experience.
