What type of choir are we?

Classical . We do ask that you read music.

Who are we for?

We are an adult mixed gender choir.

Where do we rehearse?

Hexagon Music Centre, Coltman Avenue, Beverley HU17 9LP

When do we rehearse?

Monday, 7.30 – 9.30pm

Do we ask you to audition?

Yes. We do ask you to audition.

Are we a competitive choir?

No. We do not enter choral competitions.

What about concerts & performances?

Yes. We do perform. 2 (sometimes more). Early December, Early May, Carol concert in an east riding church every other year (when Messiah is the December concert) and occasionally a performance in the spring term at a county venue.. Concerts are generally ticketed.

Other info and how to join?

We are led by Colin Wright. Come to the first or second rehearsal of the new term, and if you enjoy it, an audition will be arranged for you the following week. Check the website for rehearsal dates.. Check us out at http://www.eastridingcountychoir.org

The Choir was founded in 1957.
