Your local Southsea choir is run by choir leader Jan Moll. Our choir is made up of people who never thought they would join a choir or would even sing for fun and that’s the beauty of joining our choir. I don’t think any of us expected to make the huge number of great friends we have along the way not just in our own choir but all the nearby Hampshire choirs too.

Whether you only sing in the shower or along to your car radio, or whether you see yourself belting out a showstopper in front of an audience of thousands, there’s a place for you in the Southsea Rock Choir. With no singing audition or need to read music, anyone can come along to a FREE taster session and see what all the fuss is about!

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon ‘Big Heart’ Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.

**STOP PRESS** Rock Choir, the largest contemporary choir in the world is set to release their brand-new single ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ on Friday 21st March. The single features the Founder of Rock Choir, Caroline Redman Lusher along with the voices of over 6000 Rock Choir Members.

The single will be performed for the first time on national TV on the day of release and broadcast to the entire nation on BBC1 as part of the Comic Relief ‘Red Nose Day’ show. This will be the biggest choir performance the show has ever hosted and will be an emotional and poignant moment with a few surprises thrown in!

The track, which was originally performed by Keane was recorded over several months when it was performed by Rock Choir Members in the audience of a recent sold-out theatre tour which toured across the UK in 2024 led by Caroline and The Rock Choir Vocal Group. The audience became part of the show and enjoyed a fully interactive singing concert experience.
