Your friendly local Gravesend choir is run by choir leader Paul Gostling. We are the local community choir with the national reputation – join the Gravesend Rock Choir and experience the singing phenomenon that Will Smith described as ‘Fantastic’. Whilst retaining our community spirit, we come together en masse for national and regional events, giving our members unrivalled performance opportunities and experiences beyond compare, ranging from singing on BBC Breakfast Christmas Special in 2011 to our local Kent music, food and fireworks festivals!

You’ve probably heard us singing in and around Kent, or seen one of our many TV appearances, and never thought you’d have to courage to get up on stage and sing! But the unique teaching methods at the Gravesend Rock Choir, along with no need to audition or read music, mean that we are accessible to all. **STOP PRESS** Rock Choir, the largest contemporary choir in the world is set to release their brand-new single ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ on Friday 21st March. The single features the Founder of Rock Choir, Caroline Redman Lusher along with the voices of over 6000 Rock Choir Members.

The single will be performed for the first time on national TV on the day of release and broadcast to the entire nation on BBC1 as part of the Comic Relief ‘Red Nose Day’ show. This will be the biggest choir performance the show has ever hosted and will be an emotional and poignant moment with a few surprises thrown in!

The track, which was originally performed by Keane was recorded over several months when it was performed by Rock Choir Members in the audience of a recent sold-out theatre tour which toured across the UK in 2024 led by Caroline and The Rock Choir Vocal Group. The audience became part of the show and enjoyed a fully interactive singing concert experience.
