What type of choir are we?

We sing a repertoire of various music genres . We do not ask that you read music.

Who are we for?

We are an adult mixed gender choir.

Where do we rehearse?

Bloomsbury Baptist Church, 235 Shaftesbury Avenue, London WC2H 8EP

When do we rehearse?

Thursday, 7.00 – 9.00 pm

Do we ask you to audition?

Yes. We do ask you to audition for the choir.

What about concerts & performances?

Yes. We do perform. . .

Other info and how to join?

We are led by Phillip Shades. The City Academy Voices is open to singers of any voice type who have at least some previous singing experience. The choir is not suitable for absolute beginners. If you do not have the experience required, we recommend you complete a Beginners Singing and Level 2 Singing course before progressing to the choir.
