Norwich Evening Rock Choir
If you are pondering whether there is a ‘pop or gospel choir near me’ then you may be interested in the local Rock Choir.
Your local Norwich City Centre choir is run by vocal tutor Emily Robinson. Rock Choir is unequalled in the opportunities we can offer our members – from performing at top music and arts venues like Wembley Arena and Guilfest to raising money for some of the UKs best-loved charities such as Refuge, British Airways Flying Start and the Edinburgh and London Moonwalks. Appearing on national television and singing with celebrities like Natasha Bedingfield has been exciting and exhilarating, but Rock Choir members still know the importance of supporting our local community causes and events!
Whether you only sing in the shower or along to your car radio, or whether you see yourself belting out a showstopper at Wembley Arena (which we did! – for the ITV1 documentary ‘The Choir that Rocks’), there’s a place for you in the Norwich City Centre Rock Choir. With no singing audition or need to read music, anyone can come along to a FREE taster session and see why the Norwich City Centre choir members recommend their friends!
Here is a quote about our choir – ‘My 12 year old daughter Abbii and I both sing in Rock Choir. It is great to do something together that we both really enjoy. We have sung at Disneyland Paris and Guilfest, and I have been on the Paul O’Grady Show. What an experience! ‘ – Judith (Rock Choir member)
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon ‘Big Heart’ Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
