Sudbury Morning Rock Choir

Ever wondered if there is a ‘local ladies choir near me or nearby’?

The local Sudbury choir is run by vocal tutor Lee Birnie. Rock Choir is unequalled in the opportunities we can offer our members – from performing at top music and arts venues like the Royal Albert Hall and Eurodisney to raising money for some of the UKs best-loved good causes such as Missing People, Sport Relief and local charities like Ty Hafan in South Wales. Appearing on national television and singing with celebrities like Natasha Bedingfield has been exciting and exhilarating, but Rock Choir members still know the importance of supporting our local community causes and events!

You’ve probably heard us singing in and around Suffolk, or seen one of our many TV appearances, and never thought you’d have to courage to get up on stage and sing! But the unique teaching methods at the Sudbury Rock Choir, along with no need to audition or read music, mean that we are accessible to all. Come along and try us out for FREE at a taster session, and experience singing with your local ‘exceptional’ Rock Choir for yourself.

Here is a quote about our choir – ‘I wanted to see if I could sing in a choir after being inspired by the ‘Choir that Rocks’ TV programmes in the Summer of 2011 and joined the new Bedford RC after a taster session. I am very proud of the choir and I find rehearsals inspiring as people are so friendly and the singing so uplifting.’ – Jim (Rock Choir Member)

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon ‘Big Heart’ Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
