Run by local choir leader – Danny Gortler, This is the Weybridge branch of the choir that started the contemporary choir movement from the UK and by extension an entire new arm of the music industry. It is the only choir that offers unlimited rehearsals each week across the UK and online. You can even learn to sign or Italian with them and more! For musicians – you get paid promptly. Song licences are sought and paid for. It’s genuinely innovative, genuinely award winning and wants to do good and it does – for the choir members, the musicians and music rights holders. Weybridge Evening Rock Choir

If you are pondering whether there is a ‘pop or gospel choir near me’ then you may be interested in the local Weybridge Rock Choir.

The Weybridge Rock Choir is led by singing teacher Danny Gortler. It’s our privilege to take a minute to tell you about our mysterious choir flash mobs around the country for Comic Relief, our sell-out performances at venues like the O2 or our hit ITV documentary, but at Rock Choir we know it’s not just about the unique huge events, it’s about our choir members singing in the community. Join your local Weybridge Rock Choir to become part of this ‘national phenomenon’ (as described in the Sunday Times) and discover a whole new world of opportunities to join a choir near you and make friends!

With no audition process, no need to read music and no pressure to sing live or perform until you’re ready, Danny’s expert tuition will guide you through our unique arrangements of your favorite pop, Motown and rock hits from the last few decades. Whether you’re joining to make new friends, find some time for yourself or even find the courage to sing on a stage, the fun and relaxed atmosphere at our rehearsals will really boost your spirits and leave you with a natural high!
