Coventry Evening Rock Choir

If you have ever wondered ‘are there any community choirs near me?’ then the answer is firmly yes!

The Coventry Rock Choir is led by local vocal tutor Mark O’Malley. The choir will be performing locally again soon so it’s a chance for you to join in, sing and perform without pressure and under the supportive guidance of Mark. Rock Choir members have performed at the O2 Arena, Eurodisney and many more iconic venues across the country.

You’ve probably heard us singing in and around West Midlands, or seen one of our many TV appearances, and never thought you’d have to courage to get up on stage and sing! But the unique teaching methods at the Coventry Rock Choir, along with no need to audition or read music, mean that we are accessible to all. **STOP PRESS** Rock Choir, the largest contemporary choir in the world is set to release their brand-new single ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ on Friday 21st March. The single features the Founder of Rock Choir, Caroline Redman Lusher along with the voices of over 6000 Rock Choir Members.

The single will be performed for the first time on national TV on the day of release and broadcast to the entire nation on BBC1 as part of the Comic Relief ‘Red Nose Day’ show. This will be the biggest choir performance the show has ever hosted and will be an emotional and poignant moment with a few surprises thrown in!

The track, which was originally performed by Keane was recorded over several months when it was performed by Rock Choir Members in the audience of a recent sold-out theatre tour which toured across the UK in 2024 led by Caroline and The Rock Choir Vocal Group. The audience became part of the show and enjoyed a fully interactive singing concert experience.
