Glasgow Phoenix Choir

What type of choir are we?

We sing a repertoire across various music genres . We do not ask that you read music.

Who are we for?

We are an adult mixed gender choir.

Where do we rehearse?

Adelaids, 29 Bath Street, Glasgow, G2 4HZ

When do we rehearse?

Mondays 7.30 – 9.30pm

Do we ask you to audition?

Yes. We do ask you to audition to sing with us.

Are we a competitive choir?

No. We do not enter choral competitions.

What about concerts & performances?

Yes. We do perform live. Around 30 per year. Weekends. Concerts are generally ticketed.

How many members are in the choir?

We have 95 members in the choir.

For us, the singing started when the choir was founded in 1951. We are members of National Association of Choirs.
