What type of choir are we?
Musicals . We do not ask that you read music.
Who are we for?
We are an adult female choir.
Where do we rehearse?
St. Paul’s Church, Armitage Bridge, Huddersfield HD4 7PD
When do we rehearse?
Thursday, 7.30 – 9.00pm
Do we ask you to audition?
Yes. We do ask you to audition.
Are we a competitive choir?
No. We do not enter choral competitions.
What about concerts & performances?
Yes. We do perform concerts. 4 plus per year. We always perform a Christmas concert within St. Paul’s plus a themed concert mid year which is great fun, and then one or two other concerts during the spring and autumn which varies dependent on requests by others to perform at their concerts/weddings etc. Busking is also a key feature for our choir.. Concerts are both ticketed and given free.
How many members are in the choir?
We have 85 members in the choir.

The Choir was founded in 1950. We are members of Association of Yorkshire Choirs (AYC).
