The Ilkley Rock Choir is led by West Yorkshire based musician and teacher Ainjiel-Shaolee Clark. The choir is for all ages and all the local West Yorkshire branches of Rock Choir, like ours come together to do incredible events like Flash Mobs and also our numerous Guinness World Record attempts (the choir members have 3 world records!) and community events too like the local West Yorkshire music and food festivals.

If you find yourself racing through the week with no time for yourself, or struggling to meet new people in West Yorkshire, then joining your local Ilkley choir could be just what you need. With our unique, no-pressure approach to teaching and fun, uplifting arrangements of your favorite hit songs Ainjiel-Shaolee will guide you through your weekly dose of music, fun and laughter.

**STOP PRESS** Rock Choir, the largest contemporary choir in the world is set to release their brand-new single ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ on Friday 21st March. The single features the Founder of Rock Choir, Caroline Redman Lusher along with the voices of over 6000 Rock Choir Members.

The single will be performed for the first time on national TV on the day of release and broadcast to the entire nation on BBC1 as part of the Comic Relief ‘Red Nose Day’ show. This will be the biggest choir performance the show has ever hosted and will be an emotional and poignant moment with a few surprises thrown in!

The track, which was originally performed by Keane was recorded over several months when it was performed by Rock Choir Members in the audience of a recent sold-out theatre tour which toured across the UK in 2024 led by Caroline and The Rock Choir Vocal Group. The audience became part of the show and enjoyed a fully interactive singing concert experience.
