What type of choir are we?

Classical . We prefer that you read can music.

Who are we for?

We are an adult mixed gender choir.

Where do we rehearse?

St Peter’s Church Hall, Lutton Place, Newington, Edinburgh EH8 9PE

When do we rehearse?

Monday, 7.30pm (more as fully – staged performance approaches)

Do we ask you to audition?

Yes. We do ask you to audition to sing with us.

Are we a competitive choir?

No. We do not enter choral competitions.

What about concerts & performances?

Yes. We do perform. 1 fully-staged or 2-3 concerts per year. Throughout the year, including the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and at King’s Theatre, Queen’s Hall, Brunton Hall, Church Hill Theatre, St Cuthbert’s, St George’s and St Andrew’s and other venues.. Concerts are generally ticketed.

How many members are in the choir?

We have 40 members in the choir.

Our singing ensemble was founded in 1955. We are members of NODA.
