What type of choir are we?

We run a repertoire from various music genres . We do not ask that you read music.

Who are we for?

We are an adult mixed gender choir.

Where do we rehearse?

St Michael’s Church, Slateford Road, Edinburgh EH11 1NX

When do we rehearse?

Thursday, 1.3am – 12.30 pm

Do we ask you to audition?

No. We do not ask you to audition for the choir.

Are we a competitive choir?

No. We do not enter choral competitions.

What about concerts & performances?

Yes. We do perform concerts. Around 6-8 per year. Normally we sing in the afternoon and occasionally in the evening, to church groups, care homes etc, as well as a Christmas open concert every year.. Concerts are generally free.

How many members are in the choir?

We have 60 members in the choir.
