Glasgow West Morning Rock Choir

If you have always wanted to join a choir locally, you can!

The Glasgow Rock Choir is led by local vocal coach Elaine Williamson. The local men and women who have joined the choir who live in Glasgow and further afield in Lanarkshire come from all walks of life and most had no singing experience or ever thought their singing journey would ever take them on TV or radio (not compulsory 🙂 ). Once you join the choir you will find you learn the songs by rote from a brilliant set of resources and you will be amazed how quickly you go from ‘not sure’ to ‘performance ready’. The songs are uniquely arranged by Rock Choir founder Caroline Redman Lusher to make songs easy to sing yet still challenge you in places.

Rock Choir is the no audition, no need to read music choir and it was the first of its kind in the country. **STOP PRESS** Rock Choir, the largest contemporary choir in the world is set to release their brand-new single ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ on Friday 21st March. The single features the Founder of Rock Choir, Caroline Redman Lusher along with the voices of over 6000 Rock Choir Members.

The single will be performed for the first time on national TV on the day of release and broadcast to the entire nation on BBC1 as part of the Comic Relief ‘Red Nose Day’ show. This will be the biggest choir performance the show has ever hosted and will be an emotional and poignant moment with a few surprises thrown in!

The track, which was originally performed by Keane was recorded over several months when it was performed by Rock Choir Members in the audience of a recent sold-out theatre tour which toured across the UK in 2024 led by Caroline and The Rock Choir Vocal Group. The audience became part of the show and enjoyed a fully interactive singing concert experience.
